Our deepest condolences to the family. Such an amazing man. He was always so fun for my girls to be around when Jan was babysitting them many years ago. He always made sure he honked and waved every time he drove past our house. Always smiling and so friendly. We will truly miss him. May he rest in peace. Jan, we are here if you ever need anything - you know where we live.
My deepest condolences to your family!
What a wonderful man full of character. Ryan told me a storey about how you all went out for dinner and how he asked what's this wifi free thing? Does it come in chocate or strawberry? Still giggle every time I see a wifi sign.
Our deepest sympathies to Merle and Family on the passing of Whitey a Husband, a Brother, a Dad and a very proud Poppa. Never easy to say goodbye may he rest in peace.

Chris and Karen Veri send our condolences to the McKnight family.
I (Chris) first got to know Whitey throughout my teenage years whilst hanging out with Ryan. Whitey would always put a smile on our faces and was a welcome addition to when Ryan and I would spend afternoons and evenings in the backyard. Some of my fondest memories are sharing a drink with the family or “havin’ a pull” as Whitey would say. He and Ryan introduced me to some proper country music and I loved hearing his stories.
You will be missed, Whitey. I’ve raised a glass of rye and water in your honour.
With Love,
The Veri Family
Although we never met in person... Whitey warmed the hearts of my radio show listeners with his fun and happy attitude that came though loud and clear when he called in to my show. We'll all miss you, Whitey.. Rest in peace.

We lost a wonderful friend always welcoming, fun, funny, loving, just great to be around ..Cheers to you Whitey Rest peacefully. We will miss our occasional pours and New Years Eve..Love Steve and Debbie Thoms
Deepest sympathy to all the McKnight family at this most difficult time. "Whitey" drove for my Uncle Mel Irving (Mel's Express) and took a special lady ( my Grandmother Margarite) up north to Engleheart on more than one occasion. I seem to recall him also making a trip east to our family farm on the Gulf Shore!

Dear Jan and family~
We are so very saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Whitey. We will miss the friendly chats we would have with him when on our walks. A lifelong resident of Bradford and more specifically, our neighbourhood, he will be dearly missed.
May God grant you his peace in the days ahead.
Keeping you in prayer.
