I was saddened to hear of Ed's passing. My heart goes out to you, Ruth, as to Erin and Emily. You were such a closely knit family and Ed just beamed when the conversation went to his 'girls'. A wonderful man, gentle and warm, with a smile to share for all he encountered. Never forgotten.

My sincerest condolences to Ruth and family Ed was a great guy. It was a pleasure working with him almost 50 ears ago at the CAS.And Ruth when you had Ed on a diet he would pull out lemon tarts from under his car seat and say boy these are good. What a guy.

Dear Ruth, Emily and Erin It is with great sadness to know that Ed/Dad is no more with us. He was a lovable, kind, inspiring man with his warm heart and wealth of knowledge from his love of books. Leilani and I were truly blessed to spend time with him recently and those will be our last and fondest memories of him. We had quite some laughs together and shared a wonderful meal lovingly prepared by Ruth. We will say many prayers for his soul to rest in peace, but even more prayers for all of you, especially Ruth to bear this great loss. His is undoubtedly a big void to fill and you will have to take courage from all those wonderful memories you shared together.
