I am sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I played hockey with him for several years in the York Oldtimers Hockey League. One highlight was playing in the Ontario Senior Games in Collingwood in 2000.

I am sorry to hear about Ken’s passing. We were colleagues in the Huron Heights geography department for several years . He was a good teacher and a good friend and well liked by every body. He always showed up with a smile and a positive outlook.

To Joan and all of your family, my deepest condolences on the passing of Ken. I had the privilege of living beside Ken, Joan and family for many years. You were all the best neighbours one could ever have! From helping with many renovations and projects to blowing out my driveway, I always knew you were right there to lend a hand or share a story.
I still miss that comfort and support.

So sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. I had the great fortune of having Ken as a colleague and mentor in my early teaching years at Huron Heights. Ken could always give great insight wrapped in a funny anecdote.
My heart goes out to the family of “Mr. Bellar”. I knew him as my baseball coach, teacher, coworker and father of three girls that I grew up with. He always had a big smile on his face. I admired the close knit family that he was a part of creating.

Our sincere condolences to Joan and the entire family.
So many memories of Ken, from our numerous adventures with the Fire Department, Sunday morning hockey, baseball both as a teammate and umpire and the endless hours Ken spent helping build our home. Thinking of the kids hearing a rendition of “my uncle Mort” while bouncing on his knee. There was always the ask of the kids to “pass the biscuits “ at meals whether there were biscuits or not! Holland Landing has lost a great historian.

We are saddened by the passing of our Uncle Ken, he was a caring and kind man who would always look out for others. He was an influence and inspiration to many over his years, was very involved in his community and his church. He will be sorely missed by his families and friends, we will miss you dearly Unlce Ken and God bless you.
