Dear Cornelia:
I had the pleasure of working with you at the Town of Bradford many years ago. I am terribly sorry to hear of the passing of your beautiful sister. From reading all the comments, Michelle sure managed to live a full and accomplished life despite it being sadly cut short. Please accept my condolences and deepest sympathy. Undoubtedly, your entire family is grieving the loss of such a charismatic person. I hope it helps in some small way to know that your friends are all around, and are thinking of you at this difficult time. Revelation 21:3,4

I want to send my deepest condolences to John, Allyson, Rebecca, Matthew, oma, opa and the whole De Peuter family. Michelle became a real second mom to me during my stay in Canada, we bonded from the day we met at the airport, when I kissed her twice and laughing she said, "Oh this is Italian!"
I want to remember her as the beautiful soul she was, with her super contagious laugh, her big smile and the wink she gave whenever she joked about John or her children. She will always be in my heart and her memory will live on forever as the incredible mom she was to her kids, always trying to organize family reunions because her family was the most important thing to her, and that's what I liked most, she was incredibly generous and selfless and I couldn't ask for a better mom and family in Canada. I am really sorry that so many things got in the way and that I could not say goodbye to her in person and make her favourite Nanaimo bars to eat together in front of the tv as we used to.... I pray that she rests in the most peaceful way possible because she deserves it. I love you Michelle, your laugh will always be in my heart ♥️
Praying for all of you at this very difficult time, hoping that your large united family will give you the strength to overcome this immense pain, all together as I believe Michelle desired.

We are so sorry to hear of Michelle's passing. We have not been in contact for years, but I clearly remember visiting Michelle in Barrie with my daughters to learn about police officers. Also, Michelle and I led the VBS in Covenant CRC together for one year, then I believe she continued on the next year too. She loved to serve! Praying for all of the family - for courage and strength and comfort and trust in Jesus.

Michelle had a kind heart. She was a dear friend to me during some difficult times in my life, welcoming me with open arms into her home. She was a warm embrace. ♥️ I will never forget her smile, her giggles, her sense of humour. Even though we rarely saw each other since our kids have grown up, when we did we picked up where we left off. I send my deepest sympathies to her family. May God give you strength in the upcoming days to come. I will never forget you!

I remember working along side Michelle when she first arrived at 31Division sometime in the early 90’s. We worked together on the same Platoon. Michelle was not bothered by anything at that time and we had many laughs and shared each others family stories together. Michelle is a sweet soul. We last spoke before Easter and wished each other well ;( Rest in Peace Sister
