Raili was my aunt. I remember when she came to visit our home in Heinola in the 80's. I remember playing piano to her.

Olin 5 vuoden iässä kun lähdit 18 vuotiaana Amerikkaan. Muistan lähtösi hyvin. Pakkasit ja lauloit. Tapasimme myöhemmin vielä ,onneksi, siellä ja myös täällä Suomessa. Viimeksi 2000 Torontossa. Olit tosi rakas. Serkkusi Marjaliisa

I am Raili’s godchild. Raili left Finland for America in 1948. My Mom picked her cousin Raili as my godmother because she was close to her and I was born in 1948. With my sister Katri we visited her Wasaga Beach home several times. She was a fun and wise relative. We saw her last in Bradford where she was happily showing her photos. She loved the Lord and I am grateful for a godmother who prayed for me. Kiitos Raili-kummi! With love Pirjo Brooks
