Sincere condolences to you and all the family. I would go to the bakery every Saturday morning starting sometime in the 70's. Your mom gave my son cookies and somehow we discovered that we were Hungarian. We became friends and that included your dad also. It was a place to go to talk and linger. When they left the bakery and moved away, I went to their new home. They were nice to me with help and conversations (sometimes lectures from your dad)
Very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Gotzeler. Lovely man and great neighbour/family friend when I was growing up. Lawrence was a very positive influence on me and his work hard, play hard demeanour is legendary.
My condolences, David
Thank you David for posting about my father. He did work hard and play hard as long as he could! It was such a wonderful surprise to see your mother, Ken and Daryl at the funeral. We talked about how nice it was living in our neighborhood back then. Those were good times! I hope you are doing well!
