Barb's friendly smile and willingness to help is an inspiration to our community, especially her passion for the Schomberg Horticultural Society. I appreciated Barb's garden knowledge and her decorative garden hat at the Garden Tours! Barb brought joy to the lives of so many people; she will be sorely missed. I extend my sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Barb's lettuce raised bed on the patio inspired me to do the same - I'll always think of her as the lettuce and other veggies come in. It's a silly thought but the fact is that she was an inspiration on many levels and I will miss her. Angela

Condolences to Klaus and all the family.
Barb is a good and supportive friend whose memory I hold dear.
She set a high example and standard of service to and love for the community in many ways.
I knew Barb through the garden clubs and our volunteer work together for King.
A good, strong, capable and intelligent woman. She rests in peace.

Our sincere condolences to you Klaus, Nicole and Monika,
“Thinking of you and your family as you celebrate the life of your beloved Bärbel. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time.”
Barb was a community builder and organizer, she touched everybody's life who crossed paths with her. We met 15 years ago, when she rang the doorbell and asked if we wanted to put our garden on the garden tour for the Schomberg Horticultural Society, which she chaired. An unbreakable friendship was formed that day, she was an inspiration not only to me, my family but to the whole community of Schomberg and King Township. She was always in high spirits and dealing with the 'bumps in the road' in an eloquent way, never complaining.
We will miss you, but you will live on in our hearts.
