Baba was a wonderful person and such a warm presence in our neighborhood. She played such a big role in bringing us together as best friends (Nicole), and I’ll always be grateful for that. I’ll never forget the days of eating raspberries in her garden, running around in her backyard and the delicious scent of her cooking. Thank you Baba! My deepest sympathies to the entire family.

To the Jermolow family~
Our deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of your dear Mother and Baba.
Don's Mom, Vivian Milos, would spend hours on the phone with Mrs. Jermolow as they shared a heritage and similar journey from WWII to immigrating to Canada. Their friendship was a source of support during difficult times. Now we must keep their stories alive by retelling them to future generations that they might understand the struggles they endured. These were very strong and resilient people.
May God grant you his peace in the days ahead. When we have someone in our lives for such a long time, it's difficult to let them go.
