Obituary of Hans Lowe

Hans passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 after a brief and intense illness.

He will be greatly missed by his wife and soul mate, Anna Thomas, and their dog Lexi.

Hans, with his quick, wry sense of humour and his gentle, caring manner, will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A man of many talents, Hans was notably a skilled woodworker and a passionate gardener. He built numerous pieces of beautiful furniture for their home and he spent many happy hours with Anna buying interesting plant specimens at local nurseries. He took great pride and joy in the gardens they had created together.

Many thanks extend to the staff at Southlake Hospital for their care during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or flowering perennial in Hans’ memory.

Private family arrangements wil be held.
