Obituary of Michael "Mike" Sadler

Our dear brother, Mike, at the age of 66, peacefully passed away at St. Joseph's Heath Centre, Toronto on Friday, September, 5, 2025. Mike fought valiantly to live while battling both heart failure and muscular dystrophy. He was a hero in our eyes for his ongoing effort.

He was the beloved son of the late Barbara and late James Sadler.  The loving  brother of Michele (Stuart) Henderson, Dawn (Kevin) Harvey, Jonathan (Carol) Sadler and Deborah (Jim) Stokes. Proud uncle of Jennifer, Lori, Christopher, Laura, Katie and Vanessa and cherished great uncle of Halyn, Leigh, Cameron, Liam, Aidan, Elena, Kassia, and Valiyah.

Mike had many loves, first and foremost was his family.  He always remembered everyone’s birthday and special events. In his younger years he joined his siblings on many vacations. He was also an avid reader and a movie buff. He had a photographic memory for everything related to film and loved going to the movies.

The family would like to thank the medical staff of the ICU at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for the excellent care they provided.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3055 Bloor St. W., Etobicoke on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11 a.m.
