Obituary of Harry William Horlings

Harry peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at Amica Retirement Community, Newmarket on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 89 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Jane (nee Maan) for 58 years. Beloved father of late Dave (Monica) Horlings, Ray (Michele) and Veronica (Ron) Habenschuss. Loving grandfather of Kyle (Carolyn), Justin (Brittany), Cait (Carl), Tyler (Victoria), Ryan (Riley), Crystal, Holly and Victoria. Dear great-grandfather of Kinsley, Gwendolen, Deacon, Emmeline, Arie and Evelyn. Dear brother of late George (Audrey) Horlings, Anita (late Joe) Sikma, Ken (Joan) Horlings and Rick (Eleanor) Horlings. Dear brother-in-law of late Johanna (late Anthony) Verkaik, late Jean (late Hank) Meyer, Irene Verkaik and late Brian (Joanne) Maan. Harry will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 5-8 p.m.

A celebration of Harry's life will be held at Sovereign Grace Church (aka Springdale Christian Reformed Church), 1466 5th Sideroad, Bradford on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 1 p.m.
