To Ann and Family,
Please accept our sincerest condolences on behalf of myself, Michael, and the Hunte and Lue Sang families of Aurora and Brooklin, Ontario.
Mr. Cummings and his firm have handled our entire family’s tax preparation since 1994. I only just learned of his passing while visiting his Aurora office this morning. We are deeply grateful for the many years of service, friendship, and trust he extended to our family.
He was more than a professional—he was someone who always made time for a conversation, and that personal touch will not be forgotten.
May he rest in eternal peace.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Michael

Our sincere condolences to Ann and Family, We have just heard today that Victor has passed away. Victor was truly a kind, friendly Gentleman, he had a great sense of humour like no other. He always took the time to ask how our children are doing. Victor was our Accountant for 36 beautiful years, which we were so grateful and blessed. The special memories, the conversations will always remain with us. We will always be grateful for the time we had and the friendship he gave so freely.
Rest in Peace our Dear Victor. You are missed and you will never be forgotten.

My sincere condolences to the family. Victor was my account for over 15 years in Newmarket and even when I moved to Thornbury. He was a kind and friendly man with a great sense of humour. Even though I only saw him a few times a year he always took the time to ask about me and my family. I always looked forward to those visits. He will be missed.

Tribute Message for Mr. Vic Cummings
After watching the video clip shared by Mr. Phil, I clearly saw how special Mr. Vic Cummings was to so many people. He was a well-loved Canadian broadcaster who spent 18 years at CHCH TV in Hamilton, known for his warm smile, gentle personality, and caring nature.
Mr. Vic passed away peacefully in Newmarket, Ontario, leaving behind his loving wife Ann, their two children, and grandchildren. His kindness touched many lives, both in the community and in the ICIA.
I first met Mr. Vic in 2014 when he was practising as an accountant. Later, he became President of the Guild of ICIA. He was always soft-spoken, respectful, and committed to improving our organization. His leadership and humble nature will always be remembered.
On November 13, 2025, I visited Skwarchuk Funeral Home with Mr. Phil. We met Mr. Norbert and his wife. It was a quiet and meaningful moment. I prayed for Mr. Vic there. Even though I could not attend the funeral on November 14, my thoughts and prayers remain with him and his family.
May God bless his soul, grant him eternal rest, and give his family strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Joseph M.

I’m so sorry to read of Vic’s passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. In addition to Vic being a regular in our family living room when he was with CHCH, I later went on to work for him at his H & R Block booth in the Upper Canada Mall during tax season. He was a super kind man and had a generous smile. I will forever remember him very fondly.

We are very sad to hear about the passing of Vic. He was such a kind, friendly, talented person and it was always very nice to see him briefly here and there about Bradford and to be able to watch him on the Hamilton TV station. As a University student at Waterloo in the late 70s and early 80s, we were avid soap watchers. We always enjoyed when Vic came on with his little commentary. I particularly remember one from General Hospital, it dealt with not finding a body of a character ....after a few days Vic said something about the smell. It might be a strange memory to write about , but my house mates thought it was quite the hoot and not typical to hear in those days. God Bless Vic and his whole family

Our family was saddened to hear of our old friend Victor’s passing. We hold many dear and cherished memories of our family cruises and get togethers over the many decades of our lives. Victor came into our lives back in the late sixties, when he and Emmett were working together in broadcasting at WKZO television, Kalamazoo Michigan, when at the time our daughters were babies. From there on we were in for many good times to come with picnics, barbecues, cruises, family weddings and Thanksgiving dinners at our home in West Bloomfield Michigan and West Virginia Festivals. Victor and Ann were the most congenial, fun-loving friends you could want around. Old Victor was humorous and had us all in stiches with his wit and funny stories. He fit right in with all our relatives and they too loved him. Our lives were changed by the sudden death of Emmett and then Victor. The only consolation is that they are now together again picking up where they left off, laughing and cracking up over old Victors stories and jokes. The rest of us will pick up the pieces and continue living the good life as they would want us to. Rest in peace until we meet again.
Love and prayers to the family.

Upon hearing the sad news that our beloved Uncle Vic has passed away,a wealth of memories flooded in. His amazing spirit along with a personality larger than life touched us all in so many ways. As a husband and father his dedication and love for his family was evident everyday. Memories take us way back. In the early 60's,when Uncle Vic,Aunt Ann,Annette and David came for a visit all the way from Michigan to BayRidges I cannot begin to express how very excited myself and siblings were. Visiting with us for almost a week with our Aunt,Uncle and cousins was the highlight of that year for all of us!! Fast forward to the early 80's. Myself and a few girlfriends went to a dinner theater in Toronto(The Tellers Cage??) to watch a play starring Victor Cummings,my Uncle Vic. It was a fantastic play and Uncle Vic's performance was outstanding. I was so proud to call him my Uncle. These positive memories will be held close and treasured forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Ann along with your whole family at this most difficult time. We are so sorry. Love always, Gary and Judy Lacey.xoxo

In Memory of Victor
Victor, for the many conversations we’ve had — with me, my kids, and my parents — thank you for all the knowledge you shared with us. You were such a respectful man. I’ll always remember the chats we’d have over breakfast, your kindness and caring nature, and how you were always willing to share information to help others.
We’ll always keep those memories close. I’ll never forget the last time I saw you at the tax office and the big hug we shared. We’ve known each other for many years, and you’ve known my parents even longer than I’ve been alive.
You will truly be missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to Anne and the family.

I knew Vic back in the 1990s for several years as he did my taxes but I first met him in a restaurant in Bradford. He was having his dinner and I often went to that Family restaurant on Holland St with my two young children because I had recently lost my husband and preferred to go out to eat dinner. Not too long after we started going there I noticed Vic there often too and he struck up an easy conversation in which I could immediately tell he was a kind, compassionate and humorous man. Over the years I'd see him in town or at his tax office and he was always so kind and helpful. He'd inquire about myself and my children, he'd smile, he'd laugh and he would tell me I was doing a good job. That meant a lot to me. He shared a similar tragedy in his family with me and I really appreciated it. He cared. I just want Ann and their children to know that he was so kind to a lonely, grieving young woman for several years. I will always remember him and his advice, his empathy and his smile. A very lovely man. Ann, I recall he spoke highly of you. I'm so sorry you have lost this dear man and I won't give you any platitudes. My story about Vic is what I want to give you. Respectfully, Paula
