Obituary of Virgilio Miranda Marques Oliveira

Virgilio peacefully passed away at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 77 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Rosa. Loving father of Mary (Arsenio) DaSilva, Marlene (Luis) Sequeira and Mark (Tania) Oliveira. Proud Vovô of Kevin (Nicole), Kaitlyn; Matthew, Sabrina (Tomas); Marcus, Lucas and Alessio. Cherished Visavô of Leandro and Marianna. Virgilio will also be fondly remembered by his siblings and their families. 

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill.

In Virgilio's memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
