Obituary of William James "Jim" Couper

Jim peacefully passed away, surrounded by his loving family, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 91 years of age.

Beloved husband of Olive (nee Mortson) for 61 years. Loving dad of Sheila Gallant, Debbie (late Dan) Underwood and Linda (Kevin) McKenna. Proud Papa of Sydney, Couper, Hannah, Zachary, Connor, Owen, Addison and Izzy. Dear brother of Bev (late Gord) Poole and brother-in-law of David Mortson. Jim will also be fondly remembered by his niece Cheryl (Roger) Phillips. 

Memorial visitation will be held at Mount Albert United Church, 41 Alice St., Mt. Albert on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m.

In Jim's memory, donations may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
