Obituary of Douglas Osborne

Douglas peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 89 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Pierrette (Laforest). Loving father of Michelle Forster (Tony) and Paul Osborne. Proud grandpa of Erin (Cal), Tristan and Simon.

Douglas retired from Bell Canada after 35 years as a dedicated technician in Walkerton. He travelled extensively when not bird watching and enjoying and supporting the art community. 

A memorial gathering will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 2-4 p.m.

In Douglas' memory, donations may be made to the Bradford West Gwillimbury and District Community Foundation.
