Obituary of Arya Jasmine Elaguppillai

Unexpectedly, but peacefully passed away at the Hospital For Sick Children, Toronto on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 12 years of age.

Beloved daughter of Sarah Caruso and Ty Elaguppillai. Loving sister of Shaila. Cherished granddaughter of Joe and Lynda Caruso; Elagu and Prema Elaguppillai. Dear niece of Matthew (Lisa) Caruso; and late Jey (Umayal) Elaguppillai. Fun-loving cousin of Hailey, Claire; Ellie, Andi and Abi. Arya will be sadly missed by the St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School Community and her team at Elite Dance Corps.

Visitaiton will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. 

In honour of Arya, please wear her favourite colour, purple.
