Obituary of Anibal Pereira Fernandes

Anibal peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 91 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Elisia Fernandes for 65 years. Loving dad of Basilio Fernandes, Cresteena Fernandes (Tom Anisko), Judy Fernandes-Fricker (Robert Fricker) and Julio (Goretti) Fernandes. Proud grandfather of Lisa (Graeme), Michael, Stephanie (Victor), Nadine, Jason (Marcia), Marissa, Nathan and Lucas. Proud great grandfather of Victoria, Ethan, Aiden, Alessia and Damien.

A private funeral service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford followed by interment at Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.

The family extends their gratitude to the PSWs for their care and compassion.

In Anibal's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County.
