Obituary of Vilma Laroche

Peacefully received by our Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 82 years of age.

Beloved mother of Joel Laroche and late Stephen Laroche; mother-in-law of Maria Santos. Loving grandmother of Connie Santos (Shane Rowe), Chrystallina (Theo) Misheal and Chris Charite (Erin Wright). Predeceased by her siblings Valentine Brizan, Rita Brizan and Charles Brizan. Dear aunt of Sonia Sylvester, Michael Providence and Anthony Providence. Dear great aunt of Yolande Edward and Nakesha Brizan. Vilma will also be lovingly remembered by her Holy Martyrs of Japan Parish family.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa Street, Bradford on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11 a.m.

Interment to follow at Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Cemetery, Bradford.
