Obituary of Catharina Engelage
Catharina Johanna (nee de Schutter) peacefully passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in her 92nd year.
Beloved wife of late Hemmo Engelage. Loving mom of Juanita (Charlie) Hellinga. Proud Oma of Renee and Rebecca. Dear sister of late Greta and late Jacob. Catharina will also be fondly remembered by her large extended family; the de Schutter family and the Engelage family.
Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 2- 5 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 12 noon. Private family interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.
The funeral service will be livestreamed on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 12 noon. A link will be provided here half an hour prior to the service.
