In loving memory of a wonderful lady. I have the fondest memories of times spent with the Hovius family in my youth, which was frequent. It was a loving and fun household. They made me feel like a family member. I continue to cherish my friendship with the family. Rest in Peace.

Dear family of Tante Ninke,
We loved our Tante Ninke and Uncle Bob deeply! We appreciated their trips to the West Coast, always having a good time together. Her hands were always busy, creating something beautiful to give away. I (along with a few granddaughters) treasure and still use the bookmarks and hot pads she made. But probably even more, I appreciated her character—devotion to her Lord, steady, calm, never choosing the spotlight, showing love to those around her—there was so much to love and appreciate about her!
Your mother was a treasure! Her legacy lives on in each of you. You remain in our prayers as you mourn her passing and yet rejoice in her homegoing.

Our Condolences to all the kids and grandkids of Tante Ninka.
I loved going to Uncle Bob's and Tante Ninka's as a boy after church because they had the swimming pool in the backyard! Tante Ninka and Aunt Yvonne used to grab all us kids by the hands and we would go around and around until it would make a whirlpool!
As you can imagine, as a little boy, it was quite the thrill! This is one of my first memories of Tante Ninka!
This and so many other memories with family functions, weddings, birthday parties, and apples of course being delivered by Tante Petje because it was Tante Ninka's Birthday!
