Obituary of Jerry Kitchener Snow
With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Jerry Kitchener Snow, who left this world peacefully on March 3, 2026 at the age of 84.
Born on Aug 11, 1941 in Peter’s Arm, Newfoundland. Jerry was the beloved child of Amy and William Snow. From an early age, he showed a remarkable spirit marked by kindness, humour, and above all an unwavering love of the sport of hockey qualities that would define a life beautifully lived.
Jerry dedicated his life to his family. Whether through always providing a loving home for his children, gathering everyone to hear him play the harmonica, or to catch the Leafs Game. (Everyone who loved him knew to never talk or call while the game was on). He made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all, Jerry cherished family and friends. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Michelle, Duncan (Tammy), Donna (David). Grandchildren, Chris (Shauna), Courtney (Paolo), Justin, Jessica (Adam), Michael (Taylor), Duncan (Kristin), Rebecca (Blair), Sarah. Great grandchildren, Katelynn, Tyson, Jack, Carter, Sydney, Olivia, Blake, Parker, Emerson, Bennett, Dilyla. Brother to Verna and Vera. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and soul mate Annie, his brothers, Edgar, Albert, Hughlet, Arthur, Robert and parents Amy and William.
Those who knew Jerry will remember him for his die hard love of the Toronto Maple Leafs, his harmonica, his pride of being a Newfoundlander and his endless sense of humour and let’s face it sometimes inappropriate jokes.
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion - Orville Hand Branch #521, 115 Back St., Bradford on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 2-4 p.m.
The family has requested that everyone attending wear something Toronto Maple Leafs.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the love and memories Jerry leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
