Our thought and prayers are with you. Sue, I remember you from when we first met. We were both 15 and working part-time in the bakery at Kresge's. We found out that we we were born on the same day, same year! You used to tease me about "respecting my elders" as you were 8 hours older! Fast forward to your wedding and then my wedding to Bryan, where you were my maid of honour and Bob was Bryan's best man. Since then we have had get togethers and lengthy phone conversations! He will be missed and we have done a donation in his name. Love Pat, Bryan and Chris.

Uncle Bob, my favourite uncle.
So many beautiful memories. We treasured our yearly summer catch ups at the cottage - you loved a fish, and every catch was a keeper. I think I only ever saw you put one back, and that was painful for you! You were one of a kind, and I will miss you more than words can say.
Rest easy Uncle Bob. You were so loved.

Bob has been such a great next door neighbour and a big part of our lives over the last 14 years. Our family will miss him dearly, especially his big smile after coming home from fishing or the hunt camp. He was always so generous with us in every way. He was a kind, caring, generous, loving man.
Sending big love to his whole family.
Love,
Tyler, Tiiu, Quinn, Rose and Jazz

Dear Sue and the Deugo Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Rob’s passing. “Big Rob,” as I always called him, was so much more to me than just Don, Colleen, Kerrie, Doug, David and Sharon's big brother and certainly Shanes Father — I truly looked up to him as if he were my own.
As a young man, I was fortunate to spend time with him, and those moments left a lasting mark on my life. I still remember learning to fish with Rob in the wonderful small town of Pakenham, at your family home — a place where I always felt so welcomed and was truly thrilled to be invited. Those experiences meant more to me than I can fully put into words.
Rob taught me how to fish, hunt, and water ski, but more importantly, he taught me through his actions — with patience, generosity, and a quiet confidence that made you want to be better. He had a natural way of bringing people in and making them feel like they belonged.
He was the kind of person you don’t come across often — genuine, steady, and deeply respected. The impact he had on me, and on so many others, is something that will never fade.
Please know that my thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. I will always be grateful for the role Rob played in my life, and I will carry those memories with me forever.
He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Steven & Priscilla Petgrave

Dear Sue, I have known Bob since we were living on VeroBeach Blvd. in Weston at the young age of 19, Bob was my best friend back then & we have never lost touch over the years.
He was someone you could trust with your life & always there if you needed a hand, I know life will be difficult for you Sue but you have so many great years of memories that you can look back on & say yes, he was my friend & husband for all those years & no one can take that from me.
I'm sure he will be doing more fishing with our other friend, Parker, & once again they can battle it out as to who caught "the big one".
Bob, you left a legacy of friendship, support & love behind which will always be remembered, see you on the other side.
