Grandpa,
You weren't just great, you were exceptional!
You accomplished so much in your life, had many talents and just a zest for life.
I am thankful for all of the golf tips, learning that your food on your plate should not touch, interesting stories from your AirForce training days, instilling to my man to always buy your lady jewelry - Grandma always had stylish jewels because of you - and how important it is to keep your vehicle spotless.
You always said no food or gum in your vehicle, but I broke the rule and found myself chewing gum while driving from your favourite, fish and chips. Trying to be discrete I put my window down and of course it had to be in Gramps clean Chevrolet that my gum didn't quite make it out the window, but on the ledge of it. You still laughed but I knew secretly you couldn't wait to make sure there was no gum left. Maybe that is why you always called me your little firecracker. I will miss you so much but smile at every memory.
You saying, " hold on, just a minute here." will forever be in my heart. I loved how you would say that often.
I love you, I miss you and am so grateful to say you were my Grandpa.
I'll smile up to you every day Gramps!
Love,
Pauline and Sean

It was a great privilege to have spent some time with Uncle Ted in Lloydminster a couple years ago. I know it meant the world to my father, his brother John. Only a few weeks before Uncle Ted came to Lloyd my father was hoping to see his brother again, and worried that it wouldn't be possible. Thanks to Carla, the boys managed a final visit. Our condolences to Uncle Ted's family. He will be missed.

Very grateful to have gotten to know Grandpa/ Great Grandpa Ted over the years. He’ll be remembered as an amazing patriarch - he was always quick with a story or a joke and a smile. Thankful for Ted’s golf tips and seemingly endless supply of spare clubs from golf town. Keep hitting ‘em long and straight Ted! Love from Matt, Natalie, Ruby, Nolan, Charlie and the rest of the Patterson family.

Ted, although I am grateful for all of the impromptu golf lessons and other life lessons that you provided, I am most thankful for the gift that you and Vivian provided to me and that is your gift of a wonderful daughter, the love of my life, Maureen. This special gift alone makes complete sense to a life well lived. Rest easy Ted, we will take it from here.

Many memories in mind. I remember when Ted met little Teddy (Ted's great grandson) at 3 months old at our wedding and we took a photo of the 4 generations of Tomayer. :-) Much love and we'll miss you.
Love,
Andrew, Amy, and Teddy
