Obituary of Anne Hamilton

After a short stay at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston, Anne peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 65 years of age.

Beloved wife of Gilbert for 38 years. Loving mom of Thompson (Hannah) and Daniel. Proud Grandma of Chase and Elsie. Dear sister of Thompson (Josie) Macartney. Survived by her mother-in-law Elinor Hamilton. Anne will also be sadly missed by grandpuppy Lupin.

A celebration of Anne's life will be held at EventMRKT, 352 Doug Duncan Drive Unit 1, Newmarket on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

In Anne's memory, donations may be made to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre - Odette Cancer Centre or Matthews House Hospice.
