Obituary of Shirley Morton

Shirley peacefully passed away at Southlake Health, Newmarket on Monday, May 25, 2026. Shirley Morton (nee Auckland) of Mt. Albert at 93 years of age.

Beloved wife of late Clarence R. Morton. Loving mother of Marilyn, late Clarence, Kevin, Marlene (Paulo). Proud grandma of Sarah (Trevor), Lynn, Brent, Ryan and Jolene. Cherished nana of late Vanessa, Olivia, Sidney, Liam, Brooke, Emmett and Bayleigh. Dear sister of late Bruce (late Jean) Auckland, Laurraine (late Harold) Myers, late Cliff (late Marguerite) Auckland, late Jim (Betty) Auckland, Beverley (Ron) Childs, Bubs (late Bill) Green, late Jean (late Jerry) Jansma, late Sharon Gray (late Dave Towers, late Art Gray) and Stanice (late Gerry) Scott. Also survived by her sister-in-law Carole (Neil) Sisman. Shirley will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and PSWs for their compassionate care of Shirley.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at the Mt. Albert Lions Club, 5057 Mt. Albert Rd., Mt. Albert on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 1-4 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at the Mt. Albert Cemetery, 19675 Centre St., Mt. Albert on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 10 a.m.
