Obituary of Thelma Crewe

Thelma sadly passed away on Sunday, May 31st, 2026 at Bradford Valley Care Community.  

Thelma was born in 1926 at Porth , South Wales, UK. She was adopted at birth by both kind and loving parents Sydney and Annie. Thelma spent her childhood growing up at Trehafod in the Rhonnda Valley with best friend Enid. Eventually the family had to move to Bristol, England where Thelma became an accounts clerk immediately she reached working age. In 1946 she was to meet Stan Crewe, a British Army soldier from Bristol and marry.  

Thelma was  the devoted wife to Stanley and became loving mother to Beverley, Julian and Elizabeth, also proud Nana to Keely and big Nana to both Connor and Reid.

Thelma moved to Canada in 1991 where upon she resumed temporary employment as an office/accounts clerk then finally volunteering at Mackenzie  Hospital in Richmond Hill . Thelma eventually joined Bradford Valley Care Community, where she has been respectfully and well cared for the last ten years plus and celebrated her 100th birthday there among residents and staff.
