My deepest sympathy to the Vanin family and friends, Louie was a great person, we reminisced a lot the old neighborhood's schools, pool halls and hockey rinks, he did love playing cards, we even played briscola, we went to Durham college for mould making, attached is a memorable picture of Louie and coworkers huddled around the first CNC tool machined at Tycos.
I will miss him RIP Louie!.

We weren’t prepared for you to leave us so suddenly. We had a nice visit while you were in the hospital and never thought it would be the last time we would talk and laugh together.
With courage and strength you endured many health issues and we take comfort in knowing that you are now at peace. We will forever cherish the memories of times spent together.

I’m Lou’s sister in-law, Jane and have known Louie for most of my life.
Throughout his life, Lou was thrown many challenges, most of which he overcame, again and again. But he never complained, always happy to see us and would greet us with a big smile.
I know Debbie and his kids, Craig and Lisa, were his whole purpose in life. I hope knowing this will give you some comfort and peace.
My favourite memories are playing cards at our cottage. His eyes would light up at the hint of a card game. Any game really, but I think his favourite was euchre.
Always patient with Debbie, as she would frequently forget it was her turn. But he’d just laugh and laugh.
I’ll miss you Lou, but also happy to have shared so many wonderful memories with you from over the years.
Jane and Alan❤️

Very sad to hear of lui's passing.
At work we sometimes would talk hockey.
Lui was a Red Wings fan, his face would light up when I would mention an Yzerman or a Probert or Lindstrom..
He wasn't one to mock the Leafs , but if you started complaining, he would have a good laugh. I enjoyed those times. Rest in peace Lui. My condolences to the family.
