Obituary of Karen Mary MacKenzie Thomas

Karen peacefully passed away at Southlake Health, Newmarket on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 96 years of age.

Loving mother of Edward Thomas and Joanna "Anna" Thomas (late Hans Lowe).

Karen will be fondly remembered for all of the quilts and knitting she gave as gifts to her family and friends.

Special thank you to the ACE Unit staff at Southlake Health for their care and compassion.

Private family arrangements will be held.

In Karen's memory, donations may be made to the ACE Unit (Acute Care of the Elderly Unit) at Southlake Health, Newmarket.
