Obituary of Helder Claro

Helder peacefully passed away, surrounded by his loving family at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 81 years of age.

Beloved husband of Lurdes Domingues for 23 years. Loving father of Rick, Kevin (Julie) and Stephen. Loving stepfather of Sara Fresco (Paulo), Carlos Domingues (Angela) and Paul Domingues (Alison). Proud Avô of Dominic, Lucas; Kruz, Ty, Rob, Jess, Maddi; Reznor; Michael (Stefanie), Andrew, Jessica (Joao); Jack, Evan; Austin, Julian, Cooper and Amelia. Cherished Pappy of Luna. Helder will also be lovingly remembered by his sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 1-5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Cemetery, Bradford.
