Obituary of Ralph Williams
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of William Alonzo Ralph Williams on Sunday, July 12th 2026 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Marilynne Williams (nee Mousley) for 61 years. Loving father of Lynn Kell (nee Williams), John (Sue), and Jim (Carla). Proud Papa of James, Jocelyn, Martin, Carmen (Alex), Greta (Brad), Russel, Jace and Jordan. Great-grandfather of Silas, Eve and Toby. Survived by his sister Zelpha (late Charles) Batt and Mary (late Ronald) Lisk.
Born and raised on County Road 88 outside of Bradford, Ralph dedicated his life to the land and his family. Alongside his wife, two sons, and daughter, he managed and operated the family farm with exceptional skill and foresight. Ralph was a natural born leader who guided daily operations with a rare blend of dignity, gift for organization, and gratitude. Over the years his vision for the future allowed him to steadily build a thriving hay business, carry on and expand the seed business operation of his late Uncle Harry Williams. He also cared for a diverse array of livestock, from swine, poultry, to various breeds of cattle including both beef Hereford, Charolais and then specialized in a Holstein dairy herd. Above all, Ralph was a man of integrity. Ralph always maintained an honest, welcoming outlook, forging deep and lasting relationships with his neighbours and the many friends he met along life's journey.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the medical team at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket for their exceptionally compassionate care of Ralph.
