Obituary of Nora Mary Gawlik

Nora Gawlik peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the age of 92.

Beloved wife of the late John (2003). Loving and caring Mom of Dan (late Kim), John (Linda), Donna (Larry), Paul (Cindy), Dave, and Sue (Cliff).   Proud and cherished Grandma of 12 and Great Grandmother of 15.  Survived by her brother Tom and her sister Lucy. 

Nora will always be remembered for her caring and nurturing love for her Family and Friends.  From hosting Family Reunions, Corn Roasts, Family Holidays and Get-Togethers, she selflessly created countless fond memories for not just the immediate family, but her extended family as well. She always had room in her heart to accommodate all of us. 

Nora loved to use her hands to create just about anything for her Children and Grandchildren.  She would knit, crochet, upholster, and even create wedding dresses!  It brought her such joy to see her loved ones in her creations.  

Her door was always open, and she welcomed everyone with love, a warm smile, and if you were a lucky grandkid, a delicious Grilled Cheese Sandwich. We will deeply cherish the memories of our Mom, Sister, Grandma, Great Grandma and Friend and will never forget her unconditional love, unwavering support and the kindness she gave so freely.  She made each of us feel deeply loved, and her caring heart will remain with us always. 

Special thank you to her care team: Elizabeth, Angel and Dr. Jansen.  Their care and compassion for Nora over the last few months was tremendous, especially in her final days.
