Dear Nancy,
I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your father.
Having had the privilege of knowing you and being your friend for so many years, I have witnessed firsthand the extraordinary love, devotion, and care you gave him every single day.
It was remarkable to watch how faithfully you cared for him-from those daily checks religiously at 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM year after year, to the constant in-person visits, hands-on help, and endless support. Life brings its ups and downs, but your unwavering loyalty and love for your dad remained a constant foundation.
You, Tim, and Leland gave him a priceless gift: the comfort of knowing he was never alone and was cherished by multiple generations. Watching Leland spend that time with his great-grandfather was a beautiful testament to the family bond you built and sustained.
Your father was immensely blessed to have a daughter who loved him so completely and actively. While no words can ease the pain of his absence, I hope you find comfort in knowing that you gave him your absolute best every single day, without fail.
Please know that I am keeping you, Tim, Leland, and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I am here for you whenever you need a listening ear or a helping hand.

Don and I were great companions.We spent all our days together. We spent lots of time with our friends Jane and Teddy and many many laughs.I am forever going to miss you and life will never be the same without you.May your heart and soul rest in peace.

Gramps, it’s pisser. I just want to say thank you for what you did, you know what it was, and I’ll always be grateful.
Thank you for always asking about “little girl" and for being so proud to be her great grandfather.
Watching you give everyone else a hard time was honestly one of my favorite things, especially since I was the lucky one who always got the free card out of it.
You left a mark on all of us, and your memory isn't going anywhere. You will never be forgotten.
