Rest peacefully with Uncle Dave now Aunt Doris. Thank you for the egg salad lunches, the dinners, the long conversations, and trying to teach me some kitchen secrets. Despite all your efforts, all your patience, and all those lessons in the kitchen, I still can't get those dinner rolls right. I've come to accept that it wasn't just the recipe that made them special. It was you. And that's something no recipe card could ever teach.
