Obituary of John Marie Castonguay

It is with much love and sadness that we announce the passing of John Marie Castonguay, who departed this life surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 84 years of age.

John will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his beloved wife Nancy of 60 years; daughter Cindy and son-in-law Todd; cherished
grandsons Jonathan and Michael; sisters Huguette Skinner (Ron) and Lise Tremblay (Bernard); brother Denis (Victoria); as well as his
extended family, and many good friends.

John was a man with a vibrant spirit and was well-known for his deep love of music, especially the timeless songs of Elvis Presley, whose tunes brought so much joy and fond memories to his life.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Bradford Valley Care Community for their amazing care, compassion, and support.

A celebration of life will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 12 noon - 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in John’s memory.
