Obituary of Mary Ramsay

Peacefully at Bradford Valley on Saturday, November 25, 2023 in her 87th year, we lost our amazing Mother and Nan.

Beloved wife of late Donald Ramsay (2004). Loving mother of Sarah (Alan) Gaudet, Donna (Ed) Chambers, Barbara (Phil) Watkins, John (Bianca) and Wendy Ramsay. Cherished Nan to Kristine (Bryan), James, Vanessa, Victoria (Mike), Patrick, Leanne (Harry) and her beloved late Connor (2018). Proud Great-Nan to Austin, Blake, Adrian and Byron.

Mary worked at the Bank (RBC and Scotia) for a total of 55 years. She loved going to work helping people. Her customers would always say,"I am waiting for Mary."

She loved her family, friends and neighbours providing them with her banana bread and shortbread cookies. Mary was always so thoughtful and a delight to be around, from her sense of humour and quick wit.

She was everyone's Mom or Nan.

Born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia to John and Rita Boudreau. Sister to Yvonne (Cliff), Janice (Rick) and Judy (David) and predeceased by Frank (2004), Mike (2018), Bill (2004) and Jimmy (2014). Mary will also be missed by many other relatives and friends.

Family would like to express how grateful we are for the love and personal care you have shown our Mom at Bradford Valley.

A visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 12 noon. Interment at St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Cookstown.
