Obituary of Rowena M. Howse

  Peacefully passed away, after a courageous battle with cancer at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Wednesday, September 29, 2010.  Rowena Marion Howse (nee Batten) born in Coley�s Point, Newfoundland on November 29, 1934. Rowena lived for over 30 years in Zephyr, Ontario.  Beloved wife of the late Carl T. Howse.  Loving mother of James (Loan) of Georgetown, Anne (Glen) Cutting of Sutton and Roy (Joyce) of Sunderland.  Cherished grandma of Ami (Kim); Kyle and Jordan; Adam and Kendal.  Proud great grandma of Samantha. Dear sister of Fred (Sandy) and Dave (Marlene).  Rowena will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 19153 Centre St., Mt. Albert (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Zephyr United Church,12990 Regional Road 39, Zephyr on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. followed by cremation. Donations to the regional Cancer Centre @ Southlake Regional Health Centre or Zephyr United Church would be appreciated.
