Obituary of Irma Burton

(Past Matron of Pinecrest Chapter #263 OES Cookstown Order of the Eastern Star; Over 40 years lifetime member and organist of Dunkerron United Church and Dunkerron U.C.W.) Irma Burton peacefully passed away at Bradford Valley Long Term Care on Thursday, April 7, 2011 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late William O. Burton (1966). Loving mother of Robert of Bradford, Janice (Ernie) Dobney of Bradford, Elaine Wismer of Sherwood Park, AB, Nancy (Bill) Tilt of Kitchener and late William J. (late Heather) (1999). Dear grandmother of Jane (Charlie), Lori (Luigi), Sandra (Frank), Fraser (Lynda) and Scott; Carla (Dave) and Lisa (Kyle); Ryan (Kim) and Rob (Meghan); Leanne (Mark), Andrew (Lynette) and Daniel; Justin and Brandon. Proud great grandmother of Jack, Will and Charlotte; Luca; Madelyn; Owen; Jordyn and Lauryn; Jax, Kai and Billie; Stanley. Survived by her brother Orville (Jean) Hughes and sister-in-law Doris Hughes and predeceased by her brother Roy Hughes. Irma will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.   Funeral service will be held at the Bradford United Church, 66 Barrie St., Bradford on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
