Obituary of Robert Hambly

(October 4, 1944 � April 15, 2011) Passed away suddenly while enjoying a vacation in New York City. Anne and Bob were among old friends and new ones during this trip. Bob was sharing his life with Anne Cordes, who will dearly miss him and their farm tour checks, lots of visits to the John Deere dealership and especially his loving kindness. Bob�s sense of humour and zest for life is the greatest loss to all that were fortunate to know him. Bob was the devoted and much loved father of Lisa (John) Sheehan, Christa (Ernie) Thompson, Sheila (Andrew) Smith, Lesley (Carlos) Cardoso and Frank (Kim Stephenson). Bob will also be remembered by their mother Sibilla. Tara (Murray) and Tim (Nancy) also had special times and enjoyed Bob�s warm smile, hard work and friendly optimism. �Grandpa� and �Poppa Bob� will truly be missed by Richard and Matthew Sheehan; Blake, Bradley and Hugh Thompson; Lucas Smith; Alyssa and Eric Cardoso; Kaylee Hambly; Graydon and Jenna Louise; and Riley. Bob was the dear brother of Jack (Marg) Hambly and late Judy (Brian) Denton. Bob will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Friday, April 22, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Paul�s Cemetery, Coulson�s Hill.
