Obituary of John Edward Moffatt

(Retired M.T.O. Employee; 47 year Volunteer Firefighter with Town of East Gwillimbury Emergency Services formerly Holland Landing Fire Department) Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday, August 16, 2011.  John Moffatt of Holland Landing in his 74th year.  Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Eade).  Loving dad of Michelle (Scott) Johnston and Derek (Michelle) Moffatt.  Proud papa of Ryan and Miranda; Justin and Alexyss.  Dear brother of Marg (late Victor) Allen, Ronnie (Cathy) Moffatt and Joyce (late George) Dew.  John will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Thursday 7-9 p.m., Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 1 p.m.  Interment Queensville Cemetery.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket would be appreciated.
