Obituary of Hilda Hudson

September 23, 1921 - December 20, 2011 With family at her side, Hilda passed away peacefully at Southlake Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario. Born in Toronto, she was the second of five children in the family of Joseph and Doris (Marshall) Holt, which included Cecil, Arthur, Raymond and Lionel. She was predeceased by Henry (Harry) Hudson her husband of 47 years in 1988. She is survived by her son Brian and Sandy Hudson and her daughter Pat and Art Winacott, as well as grandchildren David and Catherine Hudson, Janna and Peter King and Sarah Winacott (and Derek Canning). She was predeceased by granddaughter Lara Hudson (1969-2004). She leaves 8 great grandchildren: Taylor and Paul Clark, Heather, Sophie, Jack and Brett Hudson and Eric and Becky King. We are very appreciative of the care and support shown to Hilda in the last few years by numerous medical professionals: doctors, nurses, PSWs and home care. We offer a very special Thank You to Ellie and Randy Legge for their care and support. Their friendship over the years meant a great deal to Hilda.
