Obituary of George Franklin Allan

Former Owner and Operator of Frank Allan and Son Implement; Retired volunteer of Bradford Fire Department; Past President (1955-56), Chartered and Honourary Member of Bradford Rotary Club; Past Master (1968) of Simcoe Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 79, G.R.C.) Peacefully passed away at Sherwood Court Long Term Care, Maple on Saturday, February 4, 2012.  George Allan of Bradford in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Iris Allan.  Dear father of Norman (Margaret) Allan.  Dear grandfather of Michael Allan. Dear brother of Jean (Orville) Hughes. Dear uncle of Jim Hughes, Brian (Cathy) Hughes, Marjorie Jean (Chris) Graham and Edie (Phil) Barley and their families. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Masonic service will be held under the auspices of Simcoe Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 79, G.R.C. on Saturday at 6:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment at Trinity Cemetery, Beeton. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
