Obituary of Michael Holowathy

Peacefully passed away, after a courageous battle with Leukemia on Monday, February 27, 2012. Mike Holowathy of Bradford and formerly of Barrie at 36 years of age. Beloved husband of Lisa Sheard. Loving daddy of Zoe and Summer. Cherished son of Julie Handy and John Holowathy. Dear brother of Matthew and Micaela. Dear grandson of Ian and late Joan Handy. Dear son-in-law of Susan and Wayne Sheard. Dear brother-in-law of Jason (Maria) and Amanda (Tim). Mike will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Minden and staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for their outstanding care. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. In Mike�s memory, donations may be made to the Leukemia Program at Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or Gilda�s Club of Simcoe-Muskoka.
