Obituary of Stewart William Langford

Peacefully passed away at home, on the farm he loved, with family at his side on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 81 years of age. Dearly missed by his beloved wife Ruth, life�s fun partner of 59 years. Loving dad to Paul, Judy and her husband Peter, and the late Jane. Dear brother of the late Keith. Remembered fondly by his son-in-law Bernard Olsen and much loved grandpa to Katie and Logan. Dear brother-in-law to Mrs. Ella Langford, Mrs. Shirley Fancy and the late Albert Fancy. He was a special uncle to Bill and Maria Langford, Don and Sandra Langford, David and Michelle Langford and the late Peter Langford; Lynda Fancy, Laurence and Linda Fancy, Robert and Terri Fancy and their families. He�ll be missed by his cousins, many wonderful friends and his faithful pal Russell. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held under the auspices of Simcoe Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 79, G.R.C. on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the St. John�s Presbyterian Church, 2940 10th Sideroad, Bradford on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment Bond Head Cemetery. In Stewart�s memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario to continue new and innovative research to keep our hearts healthy or to the charity of your choice. �I believe when a man grows old and sums up his days, he should be able to stand tall and feel pride in the life he�s lived. I believe in farming because it makes all this possible.�
