Obituary of Gisela Mikos

August 20, 1937 � March 9, 2013 It is with great sadness and heavy heart we announce the passing of Gisela (nee Jandrasits) on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the age of 75, surrounded by her family.  Beloved wife of James of 56 years.  Dear mother of Jim (Monica), Peter (Allison) and Elizabeth.  Loving grandmother of James, Matthew, Nicholas, Theresa and Ashley.  Gisela is predeceased by her parents Josef and Theresa Jandrasits and her brother Joseph.  Gisela is survived by her sister Irma Zentai (Jeno) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Gisela will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends in Canada, Hungary and the US.  Gisela will be remembered for her strong love of family, and her caring and generous heart.  The family would like to thank Dr. Solo for his perseverance and optimism in Gisela�s care and to his colleague Dr. Trinkaus and MSH staff in ICU and 3E for their care these past five months. We would also like to thank Father Russell of St. Patrick�s Parish in Markham for his prayers and comfort during her illness.  Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11 a.m.  Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.  For those who wish in lieu of flowers, can make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Markham Stouffville Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
