Obituary of Frances Roseland Madeline Grose

Peacefully passed away, after a lengthy illness, at Parkview Home, Stouffville on Monday, June 24, 2013.  Frances Grose (nee Hartley) of Stouffville and formerly of Vivian, at 93 years of age.  Beloved wife of late William Earl Grose. Loving mother of Dawn (Merv) Mercer, Paul (the late Heather) Grose, Gale (Colin) Hancox and Lynn Stuart.  Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Martha Hartley and sisters Catherine and Dorothy. Frances will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She graduated from Women's College Hospital, Toronto in May 1943 and worked at York County Hospital, Newmarket (now Southlake Regional Health Centre) until her retirement in 1978.  Friends and family may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 19153 Centre St., Mt. Albert (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Mt. Albert United Church, 41 Alice St., Mt. Albert on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment at Hartman Cemetery, Whitchurch-Stouffville. In Frances� memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Vivian Baptist Church Children�s Ministry.
