Obituary of Ivan R. Bates

(18 years with Stouffville-Whitchurch Police and 23 years as a presiding Provincial Justice in the Provincial Courts in Newmarket) Peacefully passed away at his cottage in Bolsover on Sunday, July 28, 2013. Ivan Bates of Newmarket in his 81st year. Loving and beloved partner of Joan Rogers. Dear father of Sharon Bates and Sheila Smith. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings Delbert, Muriel, Guilda and Noreen. Ivan will also be fondly remembered by the Rogers family. Special thanks to Dr. Arnell Baguio and nurse Matt Dennis for their compassionate care for Ivan.
