Obituary of Don Thompson

Peacefully passed away at his home on Friday, August 9, 2013.  Don Thompson of Holt in his 95th year.  Beloved husband of late Marion (nee Gibney).  Loving dad of Judy (Roger) Thomas, John (Susan), James (Vanessa), Peter (Christine) and Robert (Jan).  Cherished grandpa of Robert John (Billie Jean), Angela (Doran) Oldham, Sam, Jake and Alex.  Dear great grandpa of Johnny, Curtis, Mackenzie and Brooklyn.  Dear brother of Freda Rye and predeceased by Edna Pollock, Floyd Thompson and Evelyn Coates.  Don will also be fondly remembered by the Gibney family, and many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at Mt. Albert United Church, 41 Alice St., Mt. Albert for visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held in the Church on  Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 2 p.m.  Interment Mt.
