Obituary of Martin Van de Ven

Peacefully passed away with family at his side on Thursday, November 21, 2013.  Martin Van de Ven of Mt. Albert at 86 years of age.  Beloved husband of Tina.  Loving dad of Joanne (Rob) Aylwin, Mary Van de Ven (Len Beintema), Shirley (Don) Coates, Liz Marles (Brian Helm) and Richard (Pat).  Martin will be lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren Nicole (Curtis), Scott (Hazel), Andrea (Ryan), Michele (Keith), Kevin (Sarah), Matt (Shannon), Amanda, Mitchell and Kalean; and 2 great grandchildren Makenna and Lilyia.  Martin will also be fondly remembered by his siblings and their families.  Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 19153 Centre St., Mt. Albert (905-895-8062) for visitation on Sunday from 1- 4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 17055 Leslie St., Newmarket on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. followed by cremation.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) of York Region.
