Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury Councillor, Past member of the Bradford Lions Club, Member of the Probus Club of Bradford Peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by family on Sunday, July 6, 2014. Ron Simpson of Bradford at 69 years of age. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Hamilton). Loving dad of Jodi Simpson (Clayton Hillis). Proud Poppa of Elizabeth. Cherished son of late Archie and late Grace. Dear brother of Mary (Harvey) Dawe, Albert (Shirley), late James, late Alice (Lawrence) Ritchie, Margaret (Bob) Comeau, late Gladys (Vimy) Andrews, Diane (late Ray) Davey, late George (Margaret), Ruth (Dick) Verrips, Elsie (late Bob) McKinnon, Robert (Julie), Kenneth (Marianne), Shawn (Dianne), Patrick (Sandy), Heather Simpson (Peter Tryfonopoulos), Sheila (Rick) Visser and Tim (Joanne) Taylor. Dear brother-in-law of Marjorie (late Alvin) Baumhour, Morley (Eileen) Hamilton, Elaine (late Jim) McNish, Linda (Art) Edwards, Roxanne (late Wayne) Morton, A.J. (Leanne) Hamilton and Patsy Baumhour. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at St. John�s Presbyterian Church, 2940 10th Sideroad, Bradford for visitation on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 2-4:30 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Church on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Bond Head Cemetery. In Ron�s memory, donations may be made to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre or Kate and Me Cat Rescue or charity of choice.
