Obituary of Kathryn Ann Burt
It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Kathryn Ann Burt on New Years Day at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Rod and Vera MacNeil and brother Neil MacNeil. Kathryn was a proud and loving mother to Michael (Erin) Burt and Sonya (Ryan) Racicot. Kathryn loved her grandchildren Kinsley Kathryn Burt and Paislee Quinn Racicot. She will be forever in the hearts of her sister Mary Ellen Tanner and nephews John, Stephen and Joseph, her brother Raymond MacNeil (Leo) and nephews Cameron (Sarah) and Andrew, as well as her aunt and good friend Sheila Sepkowski. Kathryn was born in Ottawa in 1954 but moved with her family to Toronto in 1968. She has been a long time resident of Bradford and Newmarket where she found so many friends. Kathryn was full of life, an open, loving and giving person who expressed a genuine concern for all those whose lives she touched. She loved to dance, travel with her brother and friends, go camping with family and her daily power walks. The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the kind care which Doctors and Staff of Southlake Regional Health Centre provided for Kathryn. Friends and family are invited to SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathryn�s name to the Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank and to Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
